Friday Night Bible Study
Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos. In other ways, James more closely resembles the Book of Proverbs than any new testament book. Topics in this study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from the above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility and prayer.
This Bible study will last 8 weeks, beginning on January 13th, at 7:30 p.m. It will be led by Teresa Gipson. Childcare will be provided. |
