I would like to take a moment to tell you about our Nursery at Russell Baptist Church.
Our Nursery is divided by age into two classes. We have "Newborns" - up to 1 year old and "Walkers" - 1 year olds. Our Nursery workers are all volunteers who work on a rotating schedule. You may choose to work the Sunday Morning Worship Service (8:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.) or the Sunday Night Worship Service (6:00 p.m.) You will only be scheduled to work one service, every other month. We also need volunteers to work during our Wednesday Night Service (7:00 p.m.) You will be scheduled to work 1 Wednesday Night per month.
We ask that parents who use our Nursery volunteer their time for one of these services so that everyone can enjoy the benefits of having a Nursery provided without anyone having to miss the services regularly. We have many grandparents and teenagers who volunteer also.
All of our volunteers are asked to submit a background check before they work in our classes.
We strive to provide quality care and a safe and comfortable environment for the children during our Worship Services, Concerts, etc. We want our Nursery to reflect an atmosphere which shows that we love and care for the children and that we love Jesus Christ.
