We would like to welcome you and your family to Russell Baptist Church. At RBC, we know that learning about Jesus, should start at a young age and we look forward to partnering with you in teaching your child.
At Russell Baptist Church, we want to ensure parents that when they are dropping off their child, he/she is getting a well planned program about Jesus Christ that has been structured to his/her level of understanding.
Sunday School - 9:45 am-10:45 am
Preschoolers learn through hands-on activities. In our Sunday morning program, we currently utilize the Joyful Life curriculum (KJV). The Sunday School hour is designed to teach the children the basis of Bible stories and Bible truths.
Extended Hour - 8:30 am & 11:00 am
During this hour, your child will be involved in more hands-on activities, biblically based games, crafts and song worship. Our Sunday morning Extended Hour curriculum is Regular Baptist Press (KJV). This program helps our teachers in planting seeds with biblical truths of God's Word, His Son and His love for us.
Preschool Choir
On Sunday evenings we offer preschool choir for children ages 2 through 5 years old. Practices are held every Sunday evening during church services from 6:40-7:00 pm, in the preschool classrooms are part of our curriculum. Come have your little ones learn the Word of God through the art of song! Please contact Peggy Roberts for more information.
Wednesday Night Club
For preschoolers, we have Awana Puggles (2 years & 3 years). Awana meets every Wednesday night from 7:00-8:15 pm. This is an exciting time for preschoolers to learn about God's love, hear Bible stories, play great games and enjoy a fun time with loving leaders and great friends.
Safety and Health Policies
Here are some basic facts that all parents of preschoolers need to know.
- For your child's protection, we give each parent a pager when you drop off your child. If it is your first time visiting with us, you will be asked to fill out an information card for each child. If you have any questions, please see the Preschool Director, Peggy Roberts, at the Welcome Center.
- If you are needed during the service, your pager will vibrate and you will need to report to the child's class immediately.
- If your child has any allergies or special needs, please note this on the sign in sheet and a sticker will be placed on the back of your child with this information.

Volunteering
If you are interested in serving in the Nursery or Preschool Department, please refer to the Volunteer Application links. We are always looking for great people with a servant's heart. We encourage all parents of children in the Nursery and Preschool Ministry to serve at least one Sunday, every other month.
Do You Need a BABYSITTER?
Do you need a babysitter for a special event or just so you can get out of the house? We have compiled a list of child care providers, within our church, which are available for members. To get a list of these providers, please contact Peggy Roberts, Director of Nursery/Preschool.
