We rehearse every Sunday afternoon from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. in our Choir Room (Room 1201).
Our Mission:
The mission of the Sanctuary Choir is to lead the congregation in worship through music in the worship services of our church, provide meaningful and inspirational music for the worship services, special event performances and for outreach opportunities. We set a standard of excellence in worship and musical performance and provide a common ground of fellowship, spiritual growth and ministry for those who participate. Ministry through performance and technical arts requires as great a commitment as teaching a Bible study class, serving as a Deacon, having membership in civic clubs or doing anything significant. God equips each of us with gifts, talents, abilities, desires and passions for different areas of ministry. We believe your area of service and ministry should line up with your passion, talent and spiritual gift. When you come to choir, you don't just bring your voice. Your spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personality and experience make choir a unique body. In music, the level of talent may vary widely, but the passion and desire is the same for all. Our goal is to know God and to make Him known!
Our Sanctuary Choir gathers to prepare musically and spiritually to lead worship on Sunday. We would love to welcome you into this special choir family if you are age 16 and up! If you love to sing and have a passion and heart for worship, you've found your place to serve! No audition is necessary! We rehearse every Sunday afternoon from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. in our Choir Room (Room 1201), which is located upstairs by the baptistry in the Sanctuary. If you wish to visit, we ask that you come a few minutes early so we can greet you personally, help you with getting music for the rehearsal and finding your place in the Choir Room. Come and join us; we'd love you have you! We encourage you to visit soon. Childcare is provided. For more information, please contact Mr. Ray Richardson or Mr. Jimmy Weeks.
